The family who live across the courtyard from the Zoe Castillo and her father Gabriel on the Jardin de Roses in Casablanca. Zoe mentions that they are a nice family whose cooking always smells good.

In the real world, the Abazin are a Caucasian people (from Georgia) with a dialect related to Abkhaz. They are a prominent ethnic clan in Egypt, which might explain their presence further west in Morocco.
