Apple

A perfectly normal red apple. For sailors to eat to avoid the scurvy, and also The White Dragon's principal cargo; the chief export of Ge'en. When April needs a distraction aboard The White Dragon, an apple and a small worm forcibly removed from it's favourite flour sack works a beaut.

When April retrieves it from the barrel, she leans into the barrel and asks: "Jim?" This is a reference to Robert Louis Stevenson's Treasure Island, where Jim, the cabin boy, hides in an apple barrel.
